Request Account Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your Apex Log account and all associated data. This page provides clear instructions on how to request account deletion.
How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Apex Log account and all associated data, please follow these steps:

Option 1: Delete via In-App Settings
- Open the Apex Log app on your device
- Navigate to Settings (or Account Settings)
- Select "Delete Account" or "Account Deletion"
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm deletion

Option 2: Request via Email
- Send an email to privacy@apexlabsstudio.com
- Include the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Provide your account email address associated with Apex Log
- Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account and all data
Response Time: We will process your account deletion request within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted:
Account Information
- Email address
- Password (securely hashed credentials)
- Display name
- Account creation date and metadata
Health & Fitness Data
- Physical metrics (weight, height, body fat percentage, age, biological sex)
- Step count data and activity logs
- Fasting data (start times, end times, duration)
- Workout data, including:
- Exercises performed
- Sets, repetitions, weight, and RPE
- Workout notes
- Session start and end times
- Workout programs and training plans
- Fitness preferences and goals
App Settings & Preferences
- Measurement units (metric or imperial)
- Colour theme selection
- Theme mode (light or dark)
- Timezone settings
- All other app preferences
Cloud & Local Data
- All data stored in cloud (Supabase database)
- All data stored locally on your device (when app is uninstalled)
- Authentication tokens and session data
Data Retention Period
After you request account deletion:
- Active Systems: Your data will be removed from active systems within 30 days of your deletion request
- Backup Data: Backup copies of your data may persist for up to 90 days for system recovery purposes, after which they will be permanently deleted
During this retention period, your data will not be accessible or used for any purpose other than system recovery if needed.
Partial Data Deletion
Apex Log provides a way for users to request deletion of specific data types without deleting their entire account. This gives you more control over your data.
How to Request Partial Data Deletion
To request deletion of specific data types while keeping your account active:
- Send an email to privacy@apexlabsstudio.com
- Include the subject line: "Partial Data Deletion Request"
- Provide your account email address
- Specify which data types you want deleted (see examples below)
Examples of Data That Can Be Partially Deleted
- Specific workout logs or workout sessions
- Fasting data for specific date ranges
- Step count data
- Physical metrics (weight, height, etc.)
- Fitness preferences and goals
- App settings and preferences
Note: Some data types may be interconnected. For example, deleting workout data may also remove associated exercise history. We will inform you of any dependencies before processing your request.
Data That May Be Kept
In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain some data:
- Legal Requirements: Data required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements may be retained as required by law
- Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated and anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for internal analytics and product improvement
- Transaction Records: If applicable, records of transactions or purchases may be retained for accounting and legal purposes
Important Considerations
- Irreversible Action: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose all your data and will need to create a new account if you wish to use Apex Log again
- Local Device Data: If you have the app installed, you may need to uninstall it to remove local data stored on your device
- Cloud Sync: If you have cloud sync enabled, deleting your account will remove all synced data. If you have multiple devices, ensure you understand that deletion affects all devices
- Backup Before Deletion: If you want to keep a copy of your data, consider exporting it before requesting deletion (if export functionality is available in the app)
